Cardi B Shares New Song Snippet

Attention Bardi Gang, new music is on its way. Cardi B shared a snippet of a new song from a fan account on Tuesday (Feb. 27). The song seemingly  samples Missy Elliott‘s 1999 classic “She’s A Bitch.”

The clip contains a short snippet of the new offering with hashtags #CardiCountdown and #WhereIsCardi. The latter was created by fans and featured a series of fake for the artist. The “missing” posters share her age, weight, height, and more. Fans also started tagging the photo with the hashtag #WhereIsCardi.

Fans in Miami took it a step further, printed the photos, and posted them to flag posts and trees around the city.

In the clip posted by the verified fan account, the caption read, “After the anonymous tip we believe we may have located Cardi B. Check in tomorrow for a special update,” signaling a possible release date for the song.

The untitled song at the moment will follow Cardi’s 2023 “Bongos” which featured Megan Thee Stallion. It was the only single that the Bronx native dropped that year.

The news follows Offset, encouraging her to drop the new music. He posted a video last week of him on Instagram Live listening to a snippet of the project. He told Cardi to “stop being scary” and drop the project.

Cardi B Explains Why She Hasn’t Dropped Her New Album

Cardi has been open about not dropping music with her fans despite the pleas for her sophomore album.

“When it comes to music and everything, I just be feeling like I don’t be liking anything,” she said back in December 2022 on Instagram Live. “I feel like I got so many songs and I don’t like anything. I feel like nothing is good enough… And I got so much money saved up I just be like, ‘Yeah, whatever the f—.'”

She added that the pressure from everyone commenting on what she does also plays a role, although she has decided to block it out and keep going.

“I used to love making music, but now, making music to me has become like a job that gives me anxiety,” Cardi B says in the video. “Everybody just critiques everything that I do, that it’s just like…you know, sometimes you just don’t want to do something that may give you that much anxiety. So I just be like, “Uh!” — freezing myself but I have to let that go. I have to release more music — I have to go out there.”

  Cardi B had a time in Paris this year and her hair and outfit proved it. She wore her hair straight with a mix of blonde and brown which differs from her normal dark hair choice. The dress has a high neck and long sleeves but the mermaid style shows off Cardi's curves making it an "it" dress for the rapper.

  Cardi B loves an accessory and she wears them well. In this particular look she chose a jewel encrusted head piece and it gave her gown an even more classy look. The gown is tight and floor length and plays with the different jewels. Another unique aspect of this dress is the falling icicle-like shape throughout the body of the dress and gorgeous neckline.

  Please invite Cardi B to every Met Gala. This year the theme was in celebration of the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld. Cardi wore a beautiful black ball gown with a sleeveless dress shirt on top and a tie. She accessorized with black evening gloves and a headband. She also took a hair risk and wore short light blue hair.

  This all-gold look was another Met Gala masterpiece by Cardi B. The rapper usually wearings her hair straight or wavy down decided to switch it up for a classy updo for her 2022 Met Gala appearance. While we love the change in hair, it's her stunning gold dress that blows us away. The necklace is the definition of a statement piece as it makes her gold dress be more even more pronounced. She looked like royalty with jewels from head to toe in this perfect fitting mermaid gown.

  Cardi B looked almost unrecognizable in this Pre-Grammy outfit. Starting off with the hair, Cardi decided to do a short cut which hasn't been seen on the rapper in recent years. However, the dress stole everything away. She wore a mermaid style dress complete with brown and black leather patchwork and lace. To top it all off she wore black lace gloves and a thick gold tiered necklace.

  Cardi B must had known it was going to be a big night for her with the entrance she made in this dress. The rapper looks to have "popped out" of the dress as it has a mermaid base and shell-like top. The inside of the dress is pink, the bottom is black and on her physical body Cardi has on gold. That night Cardi won Best Rap Album for her debut project 'Invasion of Privacy.' She was the first female rapper to win the award as a solo artist.

  The bright red dress complimented her skin perfectly but what put this dress over the top is the chiffon headpiece and the simple pulled back hair with a swoop on her forehead. For someone who is used to having a lot of accessories on the carpet, this look she pulled back and only wore a diamond bracelet and rings.

  Here is Cardi's look for the 2021 American Music Awards. She wore a champagne fur hood that had a diamond trim and a matching v-neck dress. The standout piece is the hood that drapes over the top of her dress. She also wore a bright red lipstick and smokey eye to really put the look together.

  Cardi B stunned the crowd when she went on the red carpet for the 65th Grammy Awards. The blue gown had a cutout at her hip and a deep "V" cut at the top. However, what takes this look to the next level is definitely the exaggerated shoulders where the right side of the dress covers part of her face. This look will go down as one of her best.

  Last but certainly not least is her look at the 2019 Met Gala. The theme of that year's Met Gala was camp and she certainly hit the nail on the head. Starting off from the top, the rapper's hair is not visible as it is concealed in a tight red headpiece that is connected to the dress. On top of the dress is also some jewels that are seen all over the gown. Moving onto the body of her dress, it has both a 3D-printed top as well as a "puffer" material that expands to a gorgeous train adorned with a feathered trim. This look certainly made her look like money that night.
