Velveeta Drops 3 New Queso Flavors

Velveeta is dropping ready-to-eat queso, a first for the company in its more than 100-year history.  Velveeta Queso comes in three flavors: Queso Con Salsa, Queso Blanco and Jalapeño.

A release from the company explains, “Despite the decades-long recipe that fans indulge in, a ready-to-eat version has yet to be available, until now. The new resealable jars offer a convenient way for fans to enjoy their favorite cheese in small groups or on their own.”  In addition to the queso, Velveeta is launching two new flavors of Shells and Cheese: pizza and buffalo.  The brand says these are its first new pasta flavors in 12 years.

It's Taco Tuesday!! Do you know what that means? Well, obviously tacos for dinner. I love Taco Tuesday because Mexican food is one of my favorite types of food. Not only am I a taco fan, but everything from quesadillas, chips and queso, fajitas, and everything in between gets me so excited. Not only on Tuesdays but just about any day throughout the week honestly.

Yelp gave us some of the best spots to enjoy Taco Tuesday right here in the Queen City. These spots are ranked in the top 5 on Yelp when you look up Taco Tuesday spots in the area. The reviews, the menus, and everything in between mean you may want to give these places a try. But, don't forget that Taco Tuesday is not only great on a Tuesday but you can enjoy tacos and margaritas any day of the week! Hungry yet? Coming in at No. 1 is Que Fresa. On e review left on Yelp says that Que Fresa is "only missing a DJ." So, that sounds like it's a good time for sure. They have great daily deals including Taco Tuesday vibes. On Tuesdays, enjoy two selected tacos for $7, three selected tacos for $9, and $4 Mexican draft beers. Yeah, let's add this spot to the list ASAP!

Everyone knows and loves Sabor Latin Street Grill. It is certainly one of the more popular Mexican spots in Charlotte. They have multiple locations throughout the city and offer some great options for any day of the week. Enjoy tacos autenticos for $1.49 and tacos americanos for $2 each and every Tuesday. They also have tons of other deals to enjoy throughout the week is you aren't able to visit on a Tuesday.

Coming in at No. 3 is Paco's and this is one that I have never been able to visit. Serving up lunch and dinner enjoy Taco Tuesday or dinner any other day of the week. They are serving up great taco plates with plenty of options. Everything from wood grilled chicken to gringo beef and shake down shrimp is making me beyond hungry just thinking about it.

Grab all your friends and head to Three Amigos for Taco Tuesday tonight! Enjoy margaritas and tons of taco plate options if you would like. Tacos de carne asada, taco gringo, tacos al pastor, and more all being served at Three Amigos.

Coming in at No. 5 is Taco Mama in Dilworth area. Yes, they have great food but they also have tons of margarita options so how cool is that? Before we discuss tacos, lets talk about the margarita options. Drink up flavors like jalapeno, blood orange, sangria, cucumber, and more! Whew, yeah the drinks is good enough. But, on to the tacos. Enjoy a taco basket with your choice of classico beef, mama's chorizo, and a cheezy beef. Tacos and margaritas sounds pretty good right about now.
