Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR are teaming up for a new collaboration album. The news was confirmed by Drake himself, who made the announcement during a guest performance at PARTYNEXTDOOR’s Toronto show.

“On behalf of me and Party, we’ve been working on something for y’all,” he shared. “So, you get the summer over with, you do what you need to do. I know all you girls are outside. When it gets a little chilly, PartyNextDoor and Drake album will be waiting right there for you.”

Drake closed PARTYNEXTDOOR’s show with a special all-R&B set, where he also debuted “Wah Gwan Delilah,” an unexpected “remix” of the Plain White T’s classic. “I’m here tonight as a thank you,” he added, “to each and every one of you for all your years of unwavering support.”

The announcement comes shortly after reports surfaced that Drake and Conductor Williams are also set to release a joint album later this year.

Meanwhile, Drake and Lil Yachty’s leaked collaboration "S.O.D. (Supersoak)" might see an official release, but there’s a catch. The social media creator behind the sample used in the track, Mr. Hotspot, recently spoke about the sample clearance issues that Yachty discussed during an appearance on the Flagrant podcast.

Yachty had said, "I sent a song to Kai to leak... We couldn't get the sample cleared, so I just let Kai play it." He also noted that, since the track’s leak, "it’s everywhere," but releasing it officially might be difficult.

During a TikTok livestream, Hotspot revealed he would be willing to clear the sample if the duo creates a clean, kid-friendly version of the track, citing his religious beliefs as the reason he initially held back.

"It’ll be good for both of their brands," Mr. Hotspot said of his condition for clearing the track. "I’m blessed to work with children so we just gotta make it clean for them. We don’t need no children getting whooped cause they said this or that, you understand? It’s the children who really running these views up. So if we make sure both verses clean everybody coming clean, everybody gonna benefit."

On the other hand, Soulja Boy, who features on the leaked version of "Supersoak," has voiced his concerns. "Drake, you up here talking about some S.O.D. super soak," he vented on social media. "Boy, stop playing wit me, boy. That better be a f---ing shout out, n----. You better keep that s--- light, my boy. This your first and only warning."
