Kevin Hart Brings “Acting My Age” Tour To Charlotte In 2025

The stage will be set, except it won’t be the typical venue. Hart is known for selling out shows like Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Stadium with 53,000 seats or New York’s Madison Square Garden that can hold nearly 20,000 people. This time, Hart and his team aim for a smaller, more intimate setting. Ovens Auditorium can seat just under 2,500 people.
The ‘Acting my Age’ is Hart’s ninth tour and he says he wanted to switch things up a bit. According to the press release, Hart says, “I want to I create a more intimate environment. This hour is about connecting with the audience and feeding off the crowd’s energy and laughter.”
Hart was last in Charlotte in September 2022 for his “Reality Check” tour held at Spectrum Center. And just last year, Hart was in the Queen City to film a TV show featuring Paid ‘N Full Car Club, a Black-owned automobile collective in Charlotte.
The tour itself will be a new experience for most as it will be a phone-free. That means no phones, smartwatches or accessories will be allowed at the performance. Instead, attendees will receive a sealed magnetic bag to keep their electronic items. The bag or pouch is called Yondr. Staff will unlock the pouches at the end of the show. Live Nation says anyone seen using a device during the performance will be escorted out of the venue.
General ticket sales begin on Aug. 9 at KevinHartNation.com.
