Charlotte’s Animal Adoption And Where To Find A Pet
So often, we hear on the news that our animal shelters are overcrowded, and they give discounts on adoptions. Whether they’re desperate to find homes for pets or just want to get all the pets adopted, it’s never a bad time to adopt a cat or dog.
I’ve been a cat and dog owner for a long time, and I’ve never regretted it. Recently, when I was sick and had to stay in bed, my cat stayed with me the whole time, and it really gave me a sense of comfort, a sense that someone was protecting me.
In Charlotte, there are some animal adoption centers like the Humane Society and many more. Fees to adopt are reasonable, and you can often get adoption fees taken away during special events.
Charlotte has its fair share of dog parks, and you never know who you’ll meet at a dog park. It’s kind of fun.
We take a look at a couple of places right here in Charlotte where you can go to adopt yourself a new best friend.

The Humane Society of Charlotte
The Humane Society of Charlotte believes in working to improve our community by creating new, loving families, and building a world where there are no more homeless and unwanted animals.
This is an ongoing process — for every animal they can connect with a new family, another animal in need comes to HSC’s shelter.
The Humane Society of Charlotte also has many classes where you can learn and have fun with dogs and cats. Here are some classes for the month of September.
