GloRilla Announces Release Date and Cover Art for ‘Glorious’

GloRilla has been having a year and the fun continues with a new album on the way. GloRilla wants to really end the year with a bang by releasing her album, Glorius. The rapper took to Instagram on Thursday, Sept. 19, to announce her upcoming debut album.

Big Glo took to Instagram and posted the official cover art for the upcoming album. Her caption reads, "GLORIOUS da album dropping 10/11🔥🔥 So grateful to be sharing this with y’all and as a little treat I’m blessing y’all with HOLLON tonight at midnight. AYEEEEE🥳preorder link in bio!!!" The latest single from the album, Hollon, is set to be released on Friday, September 20. The artwork showcases the rapper's beauty with a somewhat 90s R&B editing effect. Check it out below.

Many other female rappers who have supported GloRilla over the years took to the comment section to support her debut album. Artists like Megan Thee Stallion, Lakeyah, and Premadonna showed support to GloRilla.

The Memphis-born rapper has been taking over the charts all 2024. Her hits like TGIF, Yeah Glo!, Wanna Be, and All Dere have been trending on social media all year long. The rapper also went on tour with Megan Thee Stallion for her Hot Girl Summer World Tour. But, the year isn't over for her quite yet. With the release of her debut album on its way, many speculate more hit songs to come from the dominating rapper.

She also took the stage at the 2024 VMAs and shocked the crowd with a great performance. Many fans took to social media to express how much they enjoyed the rapper's VMA performance and how she has not slowed down all year. Performing some of her latest hits, she had the entire crowd rapping along.

What's next for Big Glo? Possibly another tour? More hit songs and viral videos? Who knows, but we're surely going to tune in for it all!

For the 1st time, Billboard dropped a list of the "10 Hottest Female Rappers Right Now" and the internet is going crazy! The list based on quality of records, chart success, buzz within the culture, notable business endeavors and partnerships, and touring success within the first six months of 2024. Billboard will drop another list in December that will cover the entire year and crown the Hottest Female Rapper of 2024.
