It's homecoming season and Saweetie isn't playing any games! Homecoming is the one time of year that you come together to celebrate your school, your friends, your college and life and so much more. Homecoming is almost like a family reunion for some of us and it's your time to make you feel like you're in college again.

Saweetie Gets Back Into Her Dancing Bag for Homecoming

Rapper, Saweetie, decided to get back into her dancing bag this homecoming season. The rapper went back to her alma mater, San Diego State University, to relive her college glory days. Not only did Saweetie return to the school, but she joined her former dance team to perform in the stands. The Diamond Squad was led by Saweetie during the game and she ate down in her performance!

On Sunday, October 27, Saweetie took to Instagram to show off her dance moves with the Diamond Squad from her homecoming performance. Saweetie and the diamond dancers performed a stand to her hit song, My Type. Saweetie spent some time at SDSU and on the dance squad in her earlier days before transferring to the University of Southern California.

Many social media users reacted to the video of Saweetie with her former dance team. They loved the fact that many did not realize she could dance like that and the fact that she always seems to show respect to the places and people from her past.

The "Icy" rapper studied communications and graduated from the University of Southern California in 2016 to then focus on her rap career. She took off when her song, Icy, went viral leaping her into stardom as a rapper. Now, she got to return back and perform with her former team to one of her hit songs... Talk about a full circle moment!
