shutterstockA lucky find turned into an even luckier lottery moment for a North Carolina man.
Jerry Hicks, a carpenter from Banner Elk, NC, spotted a $20 bill lying on the ground in the parking lot of a Speedway convenience store. He picked it up, went inside, and used it to buy a $25 Extreme Cash scratch-off card - which turned out to be a million-dollar winner.
Hicks chose to take the lump sum payment of $600,000 and says he'll use it to retire. But before that, Hicks said he plans on taking his family "straight to Golden Corral and eat everything they've got."
Talk about lucky! If you won a million dollars, what is the first thing you would buy?
