Within the last 10-15 years, many people have talked about the shift in the club and party scene. Most of them state how the scene is dying and how a few factors have made it stale and boring. I'm going to tell you some of the reasons I feel like the scene has become dormant, and I'm also going to factor in the reasons other people say the good clubbing days have become a thing of the past.
Here are the reasons I feel like the club scene has died now. The main reason the club is boring is because there are no songs that make you want to party and give you a feeling that puts you in the mindset to want to dance with your friends and socialize with others. Back in the early 2000s, almost every song released was made specifically for the club. The videos that were attached to the song brought about dance moves that everyone wanted to do once the club opened and got packed.
Another reason the club has fizzled out and the biggest reason to me is because of social media. No one wants to party anymore they'd rather pull their phone out and record what they are doing with the intention of going viral instead of enjoying being in the moment and socializing with one another. If someone is holding their phone up and paying attention to themselves then they are not paying attention to the music that is being played.
The last reason the club scene is what it is now is because of the sections in the club. Promoters have become more obsessed with making money than creating a dope experience for the customer. Before there was no VIP section everyone had to be on the dance floor around each other whether you liked each other or night and if there was a beef then it would be settled through a dance battle.
Why do you think the club scene has become so lame? If you even think it has become lame.
