AdventHealth Hendersonville unveiled a self-service kiosk at its main campus on Friday. The machine runs around the clock, linking veterans, active service members, and their families to programs statewide. Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry partnered with the hospital to launch this station.

Veterans can request help with VA benefits, housing, jobs, and mental health support through the kiosk. It sits at the emergency department entrance.

Every request goes straight to NCServes' Coordination Center. Specialists there match veterans with the right programs and services.

The hospital calls this technology a "first-of-its-kind" system built to open doors to life-changing programs. Users can browse options and send requests whenever they want, day or night.

Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry teamed up with the medical center to build this service. The nonprofit, based in Asheville, has helped veterans and their families across western North Carolina for years.

Service members no longer need to visit several offices or wait until Monday morning. They walk up, tap the screen, and begin connecting to programs right there.

NCServes runs the coordination center that gets every single request from the machine. This group connects service members with programs operating throughout North Carolina.

Placing the kiosk at the emergency department entrance means visitors and patients can find it when they arrive at the medical center. Veterans spot it as they come and go.

AdventHealth Hendersonville treats patients from all over Henderson County. The medical center has been growing its services for veterans in recent years.
