"This decision came only after deep reflection and exploring every possible option to avoid this outcome," the owners wrote in a note posted inside the coffee shop, according to the Charlotte Observer.
The letter thanked neighbors and patrons. They appreciated how the community had "turned our shop into a vibrant hub of inclusion, joy, and belonging."

The chain runs more than a dozen shops across 11 states. Charlotte's only location will close, but North Carolinians can still visit the Wilmington café.
The concept bills itself as the "original inclusive coffee shop." Its menu aims to satisfy everyone.

Service continues at 1930 Camden Road through March 22. Wilmington will then become the nearest option.
