Davidson Homes has launched sales in Charlotte. Buyers can purchase at Enclave at Belmont right now, while Windgate in Mooresville opens tomorrow. The builder sits at #43 on the national 2026 Builder 100 list and brings experience from Raleigh, where it's closing in on 1,000 homes sold.

The expansion became official on April 30. CEO Brandon Jones called the move a natural progression into one of the area's hottest housing markets.

"Charlotte is a natural next step for us," said Jones in a statement, according to Street Insider. "We look for markets where we can deliver well-located communities and homes that offer real value to buyers, and Charlotte presents a strong opportunity to do that."

Davidson Homes started in 2009. Based in Huntsville, Alabama, the company builds across six states: Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. It constructs homes at competitive prices while putting customers first.

Enclave at Belmont in Gaston County has almost sold out. This 36-lot project sells single-family homes starting in the $530s. Plans run between 2,500 and 4,200 square feet. Buyers get three to six bedrooms.

The location sits 10 minutes from I-85. Charlotte Douglas International Airport is 15 minutes away, and Uptown Charlotte takes 20 minutes to reach. Historic downtown Belmont? You can walk there.

Windgate in Mooresville celebrated its grand opening on May 2. Ranch and two-story homes start in the $400s. Square footage stretches from 1,900 to 4,200 across three to six bedrooms.

Two townhome projects launch later this year. Long Creek Townhomes in North Charlotte will have 29 three-story units inside the I-485 loop with quick access to I-77 and Uptown, set to open late fall 2026.

Summers Walk Townhomes in Davidson will contain 55 three-story units. Lake Norman, the Davidson Greenway, and River Run Country Club sit nearby. That opening is slated for late 2026 as well.

"We keep the homebuyer in mind with everything we do," said Jones in a statement. "From where we build to how we build, our goal is to create communities that people are proud to call home."
