Thursday, September 5th, we lost a true legend. Atlanta rapper, Rich Homie Quan passed away Thursday at his home in Atlanta, Georgia. Officials have yet to confirm his cause of death, but speculations of drugs are circulating social media.

Over the last decade, Rich Homie Quan has put out multiple hits that took to the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The Atlanta rapper was born and raised in the area and made music to reflect both his life and where he came from. He first saw mainstream success with his hit Type of Way in 2013.

In honor of the late rapper’s death, here are four music videos to songs that made him the legend that he was. RIP… Rich Homie Quan!

  • Lifestyle - Rich Gang

    Lifestyle was released on June 5, 2014. The song was produced by London on Da Track and includes artists Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug. The song was the premier single to Rich Homie Quan’s mixtape, Rich Gang 2. The song charted radio play, performance at the BET Hip Hop awards, and has been certified Platinum in the U.S.

  • Type of Way

    The hit Type of Way was released on August 22, 2013. The song was the second single from his third mixtape, Still Goin In: Reloaded. The song peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at #50 and has over 300 million views on YouTube.

  • Walk Thru

    “I be feeling like the man when I walk thru!” Walk Thru was another one of the legends great hits. The song was released on February 4, 2014. This was the lead single off of his second mixtape, I Promise I Will Never Stop Going In. During the recording of the music video in May of that same year, Rich Homie suffered two seizures due to heat exhaustion. The song peaked at #74 on the Billboard Hot 100.

  • Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)

    The hit song Flex was released on February 10, 2015. The hit was a single from his 5th mixtape, If You Ever Think I Will Stop Going In, Ask RR (Royal Rich) and Summer Sampler. The song has peaked to #26 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is his highest charting single as a solo artist.
