It’s time for another edition of “What’s Good In The Hood”. This month, I had the honor of chatting with someone near and dear to the Charlotte community, Jemarion Young, Executive Director of the Stratford Richardson YMCA (and one of my best friends).

Jemarion (or Mr. Jay as the teens call him) is from Charlotte, NC and a graduate of Olympic High School. He has over 15 years of youth development experience. I like to call Mr. Jay “The Teen Whisperer”. He has been able to form authentic relationships with hundreds of teens in the community. If you work with youth or would like to develop a stronger relationship with the special kid in your life, you definitely want to listen to this interview.
