Carowinds - Scarowinds

Wine, Women & Shoes

When: September 21, 2017

Meet us at Felix Sabates Mercedes Benz of South Charlotte for Wine, Women & Shoes benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. You MUST come while in the giving spirit as you see a glorious fashion show, taste some wines, and shop designer clothing and shoes!  There will be a chance to win your dream closet, and enter the best shoe contest. Enjoy exquisite Lebanese food & sweets and entertainment this Saturday. This year the festival coordinators have added fun and educational cooking classes, great activities for the kids and souvenir shopping for parents. Participate in the raffle drawing and invite neighbors and friends.


21st Annual St. Ann’s Parish Carnival

When: September 23, 2017

Time: 10am to 6pm

Where: St. Ann Catholic Church - 3635 Park Road Charlotte, NC 28209

The carnival will be a full fun day of rides, games, Silent Auction, Bingo, carnival classic foods as well as some International options. The carnival will happen – rain or shine – and admission is free, ticket booths for rides, food, etc. are centrally located. St. Ann’s Catholic Church is located two blocks north of Park Road Shopping Center on Park Road. Special Parking Notes: There is plenty of parking surrounding the church and school property along Haven Drive and Park Road Elementary School, Hillside Avenue. Handicapped spaces are available in the church parking lot in the first row of parking closest to Park Road and in the last two rows of the church parking lot accessible from Willow Oak Road. Repticon Charlotte Reptile & Exotic Animal Show

Charlotte Performing and Visual Arts College Fair

Parents this event is perfect for your college bound students ages 13 to 18 interested in music, dance, theater, visual arts, graphic design, and other related disciplines are invited to learn more about undergraduate and graduate degrees offered in their area of interest at the National Association for College Admission Counseling’s (NACAC) Charlotte Performing and Visual Arts College Fair. Human Trafficking Woven into the Fabric of America

Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest

4th Annual Charlotte Cider Festival

2017 Geek Gala: Geekzilla, King of the Carolinas

Muggles Market
