Gastonia Man Cashes In On $1 Million Lottery Win
It’s the dream. You win the lottery and your financial worries presumably melt away. Well, one Gastonia North Carolina man is celebrating his recent $1 million lottery win. Let’s find out where he bought the winning ticket and how much he walked away with.
$1 Million Lottery Win In Gastonia
The Gastonia man with the $1 million lottery win is Pablo Bustamante. And, he recently played the 50X The Cash ticket. According to WCNC, Bustamante bought the ticket on Bessemer City Road from the Triple E Express & Grill. And, his $1 million win was the ticket’s top prize. But, lottery officials say there’s one more top prize still out there.
And, in case you’re wondering how much cash this $1 million lottery win left the man with after taxes, here’s how it breaks down. Bustamante opted for the lump sum of $600,000, which amounted to $429,003 after taxes.
And, I can hear people now complaining about the amount. However, when in your life will you take home close to a half million dollars after spending just $10 and 30 seconds to scratch some numbers? So, unless you can beat that, I don’t really have a gripe.
We always get into the Powerball jackpot, and, we never win. But, I more often hear of these folks all around me snagging big cash with simple scratch off tickets. So, I may vary up my game moving forward. In the meantime, congratulations to Pablo Bustamante on his $1 million lottery win!
