On Thursday, January 16, DaBaby dropped by the Maddhouse and took over the morning show with Ms. Jessica, Burpie, and Nolimit Larry. He talked about his upcoming Billion Dollar Baby Birthday Bash happening at the Spectrum Center on January 22nd. DaBaby Talks Birthday Bash Announcement While here, DaBaby talked about how he was able to secure the artists for his birthday bash in Charlotte. The lineup includes 50 Cent, Sexyy Red, Stunna 4 Vegas, Toosii, Boosie, and more. "Everybody you see on there, I got real genuine relationships with them," he said. "Outside the music, in the music, whatever all those people really stay down with me and respect me and what I do." Although this announcement came as a bit of a surprise to most locals in the Charlotte area, we can expect the Billion Dollar Baby Birthday Bash to keep making its way to Charlotte every year. DaBaby let us know next time, it'll be announced earlier and it'll really be a celebration around his birthday, Dec. 22. "We coming right back in 'bout 11 months. It's going to actually be on my birthday- every year we can be expecting a vibe like this to come right on time for the holidays," he said. DaBaby Talks Importance of Mental Health If you thought the lineup this year was crazy, we can't wait to see what else is to come. The Maddhouse also got to catch up with DaBaby and talk about the importance of Mental Health, especially in the black community. "I done really been effected by it. Especially as a black man, we taught to tuck our feelings away and trauma and thug it out and keep it moving. A lot of us don't know it's ways to deal with it and there's people that care enough to let you know somebody is there for you... I know firsthand that there's no amount of money in the world that can save you from mental health problems." While still facing the loss of his father and brother, DaBaby launched DaBaby Cares and their mission is "to provide the youth with opportunities & resources to live a life of full potential!"
