New Details Show PnB Rock’s Murder Was a Set Up By Roscoe’s Chicken ‘N Waffles Employees
Investigators have developed new details that explain the murder of rapper, PnB Rock. Never before seen footage shows that employees of Roscoe’s Chicken ‘N Waffles are who alerted affiliates that he was in the restaurant and the ploy for his murder began.
Nearly 2 years later, investigators with True Crime News discovered the never-before-seen footage of restaurant employees setting up the rapper, long before his girlfriend posted their location to her Instagram story.
Ana Garcia, an analyst with True Crime News, says that PnBs murder began after he made contact with a restaurant employee. “There’s someone that spots him and does a fist bump,” said Garcia. “We see this on video. That person then contacted someone else… a father and son team.”
New Details Emerge from PnB Rock’s Murder
Complex reports that Garcia says PnB’s food took about 40 minutes, which was an effort to extend his time in the restaurant. When the situation first occurred, many blamed PnBs girlfriend at the time for leaking their location with an Instagram story post she made of the couple grabbing food. The analyst reports that her post had nothing to do with his location being exposed.
“She didn’t get to post that photo until much later,” said Garcia. “It was those two that were responsible for the death of PnB. The setup was just to steal his jewelry.”
Social media attacked PnBs girlfriend at the time of the murder when her Instagram story began to go viral. She was left dealing with the guilt she placed on herself, but also what society placed on her as well. “Social media and other celebrities jumped all over to blame her,” said the analyst.
Freddie Lee Tron, 42, was convicted of the murder of the rapper. He was sentenced to 31 years to life in prison for his involvement. Authorities say that Trone had his then 17-year-old son shoot and kill the rapper in 2022.
His girlfriend and mother to his child, Steph Sibounheuang, continues on with her life two years after the passing of PnB. She posts photos of them in memory of him on special holidays but has not been linked to any new relationship since his passing. Now, social media users have been showing her love and support after dealing with such hateful comments two years ago when she was being blamed.
