Chance The Rapper Is For Teachers In Chicago
Chance The Rapper is a huge advocate of the city of Chicago. And he is no stranger to SNL.
Teachers in Chicago went on strike because of the class size and daily access to nurses, social workers and librarians.
Back in 2017 Chance donated $1 million to Chicago Public Schools.
This week on Saturday Night Live, Chance used his platform to bring awareness to teachers in Chicago. He came during his opening monologue wearing a red Chicago’s Teachers Union sweatshirt.
He also gave a shoutout to the Chicago teachers that were on strike and said to the camera that he “fully” supports them.
