We were right ’til we weren’t. Built a home and watched it burn,” she sings in the song’s first verse. Cyrus and Hemsworth’s relationship was on and off over the last decade (they began dating in 2010). They eventually married in December 2018, though their union lasted less than a year.
Cyrus’ 10th album, Endless Summer Vacation will be arriving on March 10 via her new label, Columbia Records. The record, which Cyrus described as “her love letter to L.A.” in the announcement, will be the follow-up to 2020’s Plastic Hearts.
