If you have Aunties and Uncles, Grandmas and Grandpas you probably have heard of Alzheimer’s Disease. On Saturday, November 2, 2019, we participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Uptown Charlotte at BB&T Pallbark. I hung out with Nick and his team of TV anchors from Fox 46 encouraging participants to slide into home plate. There are an estimated 5.8 million Americans of all ages living with Alzheimer’s disease in 2019. This includes an estimated 5.6 million people age 65 and older and approximately 200,000 individuals under age 65 who have younger-onset Alzheimer’s. There are 10 signs of Alzheimer’s Disease that everyone should know. Families and friends find The Alzheimer’s Association when they need support, with the awareness of the latest Alzheimer’s research, resources, and news.
