Lil Wayne Launches New Premium Cannabis Brand
Rapper Lil Wayne is now entering the cannabis business. Wayne has partnered with GKUA Ultra Premium on a brand of high-potency cannabis products that aims at giving consumers the “best high of their lives,” as Rap-Up reports.
The GKUA Ultra Premium flower is said to be the highest natural levels of THC available, according to a press release, and it is also sourced from highly experienced growers, whose strains are exclusive and very potent.

Weezy’s brand is currently available in select dispensaries in Los Angeles. Wayne is slated to have a bigger roll-out for his cannabis brand in 2020.
“I used to just want to get high, now I smoke to get inspired,” said Lil Wayne in a statement. “With GKUA, I’m sharing a feeling that I love.”
Next year, Weezy will perform at an exclusive VIP party to celebrate the partnership. Free tickets will be provided for GKUA customers.
More celebrities are joining the cannabis industry. In partnership with Canopy Growth Corporation, Drake recently launched his More Life Growth Company. Fellow rappers Wiz Khalifa and Jim Jones also have cannabis products.
