Even though my life is consumed by social media and well media in general, this show is just making me question where 2020 is headed.

So let me give you the quick low down. The show is like Big Brother on steroids mixed with a creepy social media aspect. The show started off with four contestants that were all similar in the fact they were obsessed with themselves, getting followers, likes and overall lacking basic intellect for humanity. The show then takes this rotating cast and puts them in isolated apartments where they simply complete social media tasks and games for a chance at winning $100,000…yeah…I know.

After watching three episodes because I wanted to be able to save humanity, of course, I came to the conclusion that this show is basically just highlighting the sheer fact social media is 100% superficial and a corrupt money pit. There is literally NOTHING social about this show because the people NEVER actually meet. I won’t give away all the details in case you are wanting to dive into this reality show, but one person isn’t even who they are showing on their social media accounts. Like how is that okay to promote?

I don’t know, maybe I’m old school, but this show made me feel ashamed to be in the same age category as all the players and discouraged in what we’ve become because of social media. And yes, I do understand I’ve made my living off of social media and the digital wave, but this show is just a whole new level of addiction and the empire of social media.

But hey, if you wish to join in on the weekly fun, check out the trailer below. You’ve been warned.
