Have you ever attended a Vaginia Monologue Program? Well, VDAY Charlotte 2020 is happening Friday, February 28th at Comedy Arts Theater of Charlotte. This production’s proceeds will benefit Brave Step, a Charlotte organization that empowers individuals who have been impacted by sexual abuse.
If you’ve never experienced one, The Vagina Monologues introduces a female voices, including a six-year-old girl, a septuagenarian New Yorker, a vagina workshop participant, a woman who witnesses the birth of her granddaughter, a Bosnian survivor of rape, and a feminist happy to have found a man who “liked to look at it.” Sound interesting, right? Check out the non-profit Brave Step benefiting from the event.
