Swiss Town Gets Dusted In Cocoa Powder After Chocolate Factory Glitch
Olten, Switzerland got an unexpected shower of cocoa powder after a local chocolate factory experienced a ventilation glitch.
Per the Associated Press, the Lindt & Spruengli company experienced “a minor defect in the cooling ventilation” of some of their roasted cocoa nibs that resulted in the product being sucked out of the building through its ventilation system.
Thanks to some coincidental strong winds, the cocoa powder was blown around the town near the factory. The photo shared via Twitter below shows a car lightly covered in the cocoa powder.
Lindt & Spruengli have since fixed the ventilation issue and has even offered to pay for any cleaning that may be needed as a result of their cocoa snafu.
