Is Atlanta Georgia Sports Cursed?
Do you believe in curses? Remember the stories of the curse about Bermuda Triangle, would you fly over it? How about the Kennedy curse? We can even attest to land being cursed, like when every restaurant that moves into and onto the land, it somehow fails. So let’s get to the meat of the article. Atlanta Georgia is a great place to visit, but their sports teams seem to be cursed. What are your sentiments? First it was the Falcons blowing a 28-3 lead in the Super Bowl. Then their college football team the Georgia Bulldogs, blew a 13 point lead in the BCS National Championship back in 2017.
Then there’s baseball. The Atlanta Braves were up 3 games to 1 against the LA Dodgers, with a chance to go to the World Series for the first time since 1998. However, the Braves dealt the sports fans in Atlanta yet another crushing blow by losing 3 games in a row. The Dodgers capped off the comeback last week with a dramatic home run in the 7th by Cody Bellinger, leaving the sports fans in Atlanta seeking a sports doctor to break the curse. However, there is good news. The Georgia Bulldogs are currently ranked 4th in the nation in the latest college football poll. The bad news is, they lost to Alabama for the 5th time in a row on Saturday night, and have lost twice in the last 3 SEC CHAMPIONSHIPS and COLLEGE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS to that same Alabama team.
