One of my fondest childhood memories is my Mama making homemade peach cobbler topped with fresh ice cream in the summertime. This will get pretty close. A popular Nashville dessert chain is expanding in North Carolina. And we are more than here for it.

Get Ready Cobbler Lovers

For the first time, Nashville based The Peach Cobbler Factory is coming to Charlotte, North Carolina. Steve Conner of Conner Commercial Properties told our source, the Charlotte Observer that the popular Nashville dessert chain will be in Whitehall Corners. It’s important to know that address peach cobbler lovers! The location is 8506 South Tryon Street in Charlotte.

Popular Nashville Dessert Chain Expanding In North Carolina

Now we know the what and where, what about the when. No specific date is listed but the opening is expected in late June or early July according to co franchise owner Paul Foster. Yes! We are more than happy to welcome this popular Nashville dessert chain to Charlotte,North Carolina. Who doesn’t need a little more sweetness in this life? There is already a Peach Cobbler Factory in Indian Trail.

This will be the first stand alone store of its kind in the Queen City. The 1400 square foot Peach Cobbler Factory will be for takeout only. Here what that means. We will be able to walk in, call your order in or use the store’s app to order. So happy this popular  Nashville dessert chain is expanding in North Carolina.

This will be an employment opportunity for those looking to work in the Steele Creek area. 12 employees will be hired and the store will also offer catering.

Here’s Whats On The Menu

This popular Nashville dessert chain is expanding in North Carolina. And if you don’t particularly like peach cobbler, the menu is varied. There will be 12 cobbler flavors including strawberry, blackberry and sweet potato pecan. The Peach Cobbler Factory will also offer 12 varieties of banana puddings. Expect to see many a brownie going out the door as well as churros and even Belgian waffles.

Their signature dessert is of course the peach cobbler. Another store can be expected in the Waxhaw area sometime next year.

My aunt has taught me many things and baking some of our favorite recipes that have been passed down is one of the best things. If you do not know any of these treats, then you are missing out.   • Huguenot Torte

    A favorite from Charleston is the Huguenot Torte treat. This is a baked apple and pecan or walnut pudding cake with crispy meringue topping and served with whipped cream. Taste Atlas says this is a pretty recent recipe for the Charleston base.  The recipe first showed up in the 1950s in a cookbook and began to blow up shortly after.

  • Benne Wafers

    Now this is a great one for sure! Benne Wafers is a traditional American cookie coming straight out of Charleston. Made up of a great combo of butter, sugar, flour, eggs, baking powder, and benne. Benne is the Bantu word for sesame seeds. They are a cookie dated back years and years and are now a treat that tourists can enjoy when visiting.

  • Lady Baltimore Cake

    Now, this may be a new one for me. The Lady Baltimore Cake is Taste Atlas No. 1 South Carolina dessert. I have personally never heard of or had this which is kind of crazy being from Charleston. This famous cake was created by two women who ran Charleston’s Lady Baltimore Tea Room. The cake is several layers of white sponge cake and a rich marshmallow-like frosting mixed with chopped nuts and dried fruits.
