Meek Mill Addresses On Him Being Held for Ransom by L.A. Gang
Meek Mill took to social media to address claims that were made in a resurfaced clip by Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crip rapper, Luce Cannon. In the clip, he admits that he allegedly kidnapped Meel Mill at a club and held him for a ransom of $50,000 in L.A.
The clip was from a three-minute video posted by DJ Akademiks’ podcast, Off the Record. Cannon states that the altercation took place because Mill was “talking real reckless on Twitter.” He further states that they took Mill outside and allegedly made him call rapper Rick Ross to pay $50,000 for his release.
Mill took to social media to address the viral clip and the claims made by Cannon. Meek posted a screenshot of an article regarding the topic and stated that he has never met Cannon nor does he know who he is.
“This guy must be using a story to confuse his indictment because I never seen him B4. I woulda put him to ‘gods test’ on the spot! I never even met buddy I don’t ‘negotiate’ with fake thugs ask him what chain because all my chains some shi** lol watches all 300k up vibes,” said Meek Mill on X.
In response to a user on X who claimed they had never heard this story before, Meek said, “It’s a real world real la n***** that respect the sh** out me how I carry myself in an open arms way to build my people up ion care where you from… that’s why you seen my around NIPSEY and others … men of respect and honor!”
He then continued to discuss his relationships with many West Coast rappers and individuals in the music industry. (See X post below)
Cannon is currently being held on multiple charges including racketeering, extortion, human trafficking, fraud, and the murder of a 21-year-old aspiring rapper.
