Woman’s Last Meal Request Fulfilled by North Carolina Restaurant Owner
A woman was dying from stage four cancer when one of her final requests was to have a pork plate from an Outer Banks, North Carolina restaurant called Mama Kwans. Her name is Heather Bowers, and the only problem with that request is that she was in West Virginia and the restaurant she wanted the food from was in North Carolina.
Mama Kwans is the name of the restaurant and Heather’s best friend called them up to see if her friend’s dying wish could come true. Luckily for her, the owner of the restaurant, Kevin Cherry was already packing up some food for a road trip so he also packed up what Heather wanted and he drove 6 hours himself to deliver her food personally. Kevin said that her Instagram post with that request was very emotional but he wanted to show Heather a happy, fun side in her final hours.
Heather received her meal from the restaurant that she loved so much and the very next day after Kevin delivered the food, unfortunately, Heather passed away from stage four cancer. The post said Bowers was a loving wife, mother of two, and devoted friend.
If a stranger were to make a dying wish directed towards you would you go out of your way to make that wish come true for that person?
