    One of the best ways to dress up this Halloween without impacting the environment is to get create your own fancy dress costume. Why not look on Pinterest for inspiration then head to your local charity shop and start getting crafty. From zombie costumes to a witch or even corpse brides, many costume ideas come to mind with the help of dresses from the charity shop.

  • Tip 2: Roast Your Pumpkin

    Make sure that you use the whole pumpkin after carving your spooky faces why not make some delicious recipes such as pumpkin pie, loaded pumpkin fries, or pumpkin soup. Then use any further remains as compost as pumpkins help to speed up composting time.

  • Tip 3: Give Out Sustainable Halloween Treats

    We all know that one of the best things about Halloween is the sweet treats but all those individually wrapped sweets you collect whilst trick-or-treating create a massive plastic problem. Why not make your own Halloween treats or bulk buy a large bag of sweets and distribute them into recycled paper bags?

  • Tip 4: Use Long Lasting Decorations

    Halloween decorations are known to be cheap and tacky so why not invest in decorations that are long-lasting and can be used year after year instead of throwing them in the garbage after one use.
