Chance The Rapper, Jay-Z Among Woodstock Headliners
The legendary rock festival Woodstock just officially announced its lineup, and a number of today’s hottest hip-hop and R&B artists are on the bill.
The festival, which takes place in Watkins Glen, New York from August 16- 18, sees Chance The Rapper co-headlining day two, along with the Black Keys and Dead & Company (a band that features John Mayer with members of the Grateful Dead).
Meanwhile, Sunday sees Jay-Z co-headlining with Imagine Dragons and Halsey. Janelle Monae, Common, Vince Staples and Earl Sweatshirt are also on the bill that day, making it the festival’s most hip-hop-heavy day.
Day one (Friday, August 16) will feature Run The Jewels and Akon on the bill, along with Santana, who played the original Woodstock back in 1969.
Sunday sees Halsey, Imagine Dragons and Jay-Z topping the bill; Janelle Monae, Vince Staples and Earl Sweatshirt also play that day.
