R. Kelly’s Daughter Sets The Record Straight Regarding Her Name
R. Kelly’s daughter wants everyone to get one thing straight.
Yesterday (Mar. 21), Kelly’s oldest child with his ex-wife Drea Kelly took to Instagram to set the record straight about her name.
The 21-year-old artist wrote, “My name is BUKU ABI,” in an Instagram story. “Not Joann, not jojo, not” _________ daughter” nothing besides Buku will work for me. If you don’t know me personally please don’t call me anything but ‘Buku’ or ‘Buku Abi’ Ty.”
Two days ago, Kelly sang “Happy Birthday” to his daughter, who he referred to as “Joann,” in an Instagram video.

Yesterday, Abi shared a video on Instagram, thanking everyone for the birthday wishes that she received.
