WATCH: Nicki Minaj Freestyles in Fendi on ‘The Tonight Show’
Nicki Minaj proved she is still one of the reigning queens of hip-hop last night when she appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.
Looking chic in a Fendi mini-dress, the artist played along while Fallon tested her freestyle skills in a game of “Wheel of Freestyle.” The “random word generator” came up with three words that Nicki was tasked with freestyling around.
The words, “hexagon,” “yeti” and “edible arrangement,” seemed to stump Nicki before she started, but as soon as the beat dropped, she got right into it.
“Six sides, that’s a hexagon. I’m the big homie, Megatron. These girls can see me like the yeti, all these girls gassed like Getty,” Nicki rapped, “I am Ms. Petty, and it’s going down, basement. I be like eat it! Eat it! Eat it! Edible arrangement.”
The “Ms. Petty” reference was, of course, a play on words as her fiance’s name is Kenneth Petty.
Nicki, whose song “Megatron” dropped recently, also played coy about her upcoming album, not revealing any details and leaving fans desperate to hear more.
