Layoffs Hit Amazon Facilities in Charlotte
Two hundred workers at three Amazon.com facilities are losing their jobs this month. A company called Inpax Final Mile Delivery is informing that they will permanently cut positions at these locations:
- Amazon facility in Charlotte, 64 employees
- Amazon facility in Durham, 99 employees
- Amazon facility in Durham, 37 employees
It’s surprising to see Amazon cut jobs, especially right before the holidays when they typically hire seasonal help. The positions being cut are mostly drivers, management and dispatchers.
