WSSU Homecoming Comedy Show
DC Young Fly, Chico Bean, Darren “Big Baby” Brand, & Burpie. There’s no way you would think someone would be able to get all of these names on the same stage at the same time, but Winston Salem State University was able to do just that. For their homecoming comedy show they pulled off these names and a great show that was given to the sold out crowd and the RJ Reynolds Auditorium. From beginning to end the crowd was on fire and were engaged in everyone that hit the stage. There wasn’t a body in the building who left disappointed or didn’t enjoy themselves at the show.
What comedians would you want to see for one night only?
Burpie is a stand-up comedian seen on MTV’s Wild n Out, Joking Off, Worldstar tv, Real Housewives of Atlanta, etc. He is also a radio personality on No Limit Larry and the Morning Maddhouse. He enjoys writing random Charlotte stories that he finds interesting or even bringing his comedy to the internet. He also writes about Charlotte sports. His life on a day to day is sometimes where he finds a lot of inspiration for his online content and on-air bits.
