College Football Playoff Is Set
With the college football playoff finally set, which teams do you think will reach the championship game and who do you think will win? I think the best matchup of the entire playoffs will be No. 2 Clemson vs No. 3 Ohio State, Quarterbacks Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence were the No. 1 and 2 overall recruits in the 2018 class, both of them are fro Georgia, and there were discussions about which was the better prospect but they both have already shown why they were so highly recruited. We finally get to see them head to head in matchup. I personally think Clemson will win this matchup pretty easily because Lawrence has the experience of playing in the playoff before as a true freshman last year and the moment won’t be too big for him. While people think Clemson had one of the easiest schedules they still have dominant team. The one thing that slowed down Ohio State was a team that had speed and Clemson has speed all over the field on defense to slow down Justin Fields and that OSU offense. At the end of the day Clemson will win this game pretty big 44-21.
The 2nd matchup sees No. 1 LSU vs No. 3 Oklahoma. This could be LSU’s biggest test to date. Even though they’ve had the hardest schedule out of all 4 teams in the playoff they’ve won games by outscoring the teams they’ve beaten. Although I predict LSU to win this game I think it will be very close because Oklahoma has a very powerful offense and the tigers have struggled with mobile quarterbacks all season I think LSU wins a shootout 55-52. Then Clemson will repeat as national champion because their defense will be able to tame Joe Burrow and the tigers offense.
