According to the New York Post, the Homecoming-themed workouts will honor historically black colleges and universities.
The outlet states, “The cycling, running, strength, bootcamp, yoga and meditation classes will be a tribute to the annual homecoming celebrations at the schools known as HBCUs, which also inspired Beyonce’s 2019 live album and documentary.”
In a statement about the collaboration, Beyonce said, “I’ve been a Peloton member for several years, and I’m excited to partner with a company that helps people, young and old, be the best versions of themselves, in an innovative and adaptable way.”
Peloton also plans to give students at 10 HBCUs free two-year digital memberships during the month of November.
