A new study from personalized pet gift shop Yappy.com has revealed the US’s most spoiled dog breeds. The winner? Dobermans! Dobermans are known for their loyal, intelligent, and protective personality traits, Out of the 300 breeds studied, Dobermans are the most likely to be spoiled with treats and gifts from their owners.
Coming in second is the Whippet. Whippet’s are loved for their friendly and affectionate nature and famed as one of the world’s fastest dogs.
The third most spoiled dog breed is the Great Dane – these dogs are gentle and peaceful and just want to please their owners. Great Dane’s make amazing guard dogs.

The study shows that owners of these breeds spent the most on toys, accessories, and treats for their pets.

Methodology
The most spoiled dogs of the US data was collated over the last 12 months from May 2020-May 2021 and studied 300 popular breeds and over 450,000 individual dog profiles generated across Yappy.com. By looking at the highest average spend per breed and region, the data reveals the most pampered dogs in the US according to their breed, name, and where they live. According to Yappy.com’s data, the study also reveals the least spoiled breeds according to Yappy.com’s data only – it doesn’t mean that these breeds aren’t as loved and adored by their owners as the others!
