Donovan Mitchell Gets Drug Tested After 71 Point Game
Donovan Mitchell just had an amazing game last week for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Donovan Mitchell aka Spyda dropped 71 points against the Chicago Bulls. Donovan looked like he was a created player on a video game. You would think after a game like this you would receive accolades from the NBA right? Well, what did Donovan get? Donovan got a slip in his locker to take a “random” Drug test. That’s right a drug test. I mean “random” drug tests are not uncommon in the NBA. This “random” drug test did not seem so random. Donovan says he has not been drug tested like that since he has been in the NBA. Donovan became the first player since Kobe Bryant to drop over 70 points in a game. Kobe dropped 81 points against Toronto. Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns dropped 70 in a game recently. Kobe nor Devin was subjected to a “random” drug test after their historic performances. Hey, NBA we not saying your drug test wasn’t “random” we just saying that the timing was a little off.
