The 2023 Cheerwine Festival returns Saturday, May 20, from noon to 10 p.m. for a day of fun celebrating the South’s favorite cherry soda. This year’s festival features entertainment headlined by the Band Neon Trees, Cheerwine-inspired food and beverages, arts & crafts, two beer gardens, kids’ activities, and a Cheerwine history exhibit at the Rowan Museum. A portion of all drink sales (purchased at the Cheerwine tents) will go to benefit Rowan Helping Ministries. Food will be available from 40 vendors from across the Carolinas. Make sure to try to Cheerwine BBQ, Cheerwine funnel cakes, Cheerwine tacos, and more! And if you’re 21 you’ll want to pay a visit to the Beer Garden which features 10 breweries and Cheerwine beer.
