This might not be the best buzzer-beater that you've seen, but it's the best one that I've seen. High school student Richie Rosa delivered one of the best buzzer-beater moments.

Rosa attends Saint Peter's Prep in Jersey City, New Jersey. Saint Peter's is a Catholic private institution. Rosa will be graduating with the class of 2026 which makes him a Sophomore in high school. He is 6 feet even and plays point guard.

This young man hit a shot from beyond the 3-point line. Not to live vicariously, but I played basketball in high school and that shot is not easy. I've shot like a frog and attempted to make it and it went in, but I was playing around. This was a Hail Mary that worked and it was amazing to watch. Charlotte has had a few star players for years in many sports. Most recently, there were four football players from Charlotte played in the All-American bowl. Thanks to WCNC for that story.

Around 11 years ago there was a very controversial buzzer beater in Charlotte with West Charlotte High and DeMatha. The controversy was over if the shot should count or not.
