Normally a text message from your significant other claiming that you spent a chunk of the vacation budget on a student would raise an eyebrow but one man’s act of kindness is raising awareness that there are still good people in the world. You can see the text below.

A teacher named James noticed that one of his student’s had been coming to school daily without a winter jacket. It was freezing outside so he asked the student to stay after and found out that he was living with his grandad who was on a small pension and didn’t have the cash for extra clothing and barely enough for groceries.

The teacher took the boy and his grandad out for clothes and grocery shopping and his act of kindness is spreading. His wife said she was proud and also offered up their home for a Christmas visit if they wanted.

Tis’ the season of giving.
