Post Malone Teases New Country Collab With Blake Shelton
Post Malone has racked up yet another feature, this time with country legend Blake Shelton. Posty’s new country collab with the “‘Ol Red” singer-songwriter marks his second collaboration with a country star.
The rapper and sometimes pop star, sometimes rock star, is heading more into the country route. The award-winning genre-hopping artist has been showing interest in country music lately, from his style to his collaborations.
He and Morgan Wallen released one song together earlier this month with “I Had Some Help.”
At the recent Academy of Country Music Awards show, Post debuted a new track called “Never Love You Again.” He then performed “I Had Some Help.” Following his performances, host Reba McEntire joined him to sing a cover of Allman Brothers Band’s “Ramblin’ Man” for a tribute to the late Dickey Betts. Both Posty and Reba sang ahead of this year’s Super Bowl.

Reacting to the new track, Shelton’s wife, Gwen Stefani, shared, “Can’t handle this much cool and cute!! Super fan alert !” Meanwhile, fans also shared their enthusiasm. One person commented, “we are all here for country malone [cowboy hat emoji.” Another said, “This country album bout to break records when you drop it bro! [fire emoji, praise emoji].” A third wrote, “He’s jumping into country the best possible way!!” One fan stated, “He’s assembling The Country Infinity Gauntlet [exploding head emoji].” Another wrote, “Blue Collar Malone goes hard.”
Although Malone has yet to reveal any information about his new song, it will likely be a part of his upcoming country album. Though there haven’t been many confirmed details about the project, fans theorize the album will be called City Cowboy after an Easter egg was spotted in the “I Had Some Help” music video.
