Man Holding Baby Hit By Car In Charlotte
A family in Charlotte were attempting to cross the street when police say the father and his infant daughter were struck by a car on Friday morning.
The incident happened near West Boulevard and Old Steele Creek Road.
According to WCNC, a female driver was making a left hand turn when she hit the father and his daughter.
The infant’s mother was also walking across the street but was a few feet behind them when the accident occurred.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police did not charge the driver because the family did not cross the street via the crosswalk.
Both the father and infant were taken to a local hospital with what is believed to be life-threatening injuries.
