Shots Fired In Parking Lot Of CMPD Headquarters
Moments ago, shots were fired at in the parking lot of CMPD Headquarters Uptown.
Multiple news crews are currently on the scene.

Reports on the scanner indicate that Trade and 5th has been shut down and SWAT has been called in.

Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department are currently working to secure the scene.
This is an active situation.
At this time it is not clear how many people are injured, but MEDIC has been called in to the scene.
