NBA Superstar Is A Part Of The Investor Group To Purchase The Carolina Panthers
Apparently the rumors of Steph Curry and Diddy buying the Carolina Panthers are real.
According to Complex, Michael Rubin is interested in purchasing the Panthers and has put together a group that involves Diddy and Stephen Curry.
David Newton of ESPN says that Rubin isn’t the only person interested, CEO of Sherman Financial Group Ben Navarro and billionaire David Tepper also would like to buy the team.
One would have to think that Rubin and his group are in the driver seat due to the fact that he is the owner of sports apparel retailer Fanatics and also is part owner of the 76ers, New Jersey Devils, and Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Nothing is set in stone just yet though, there are many more hoops to jump through before they make any final decisions. Several bids will come through over the next several weeks and then the earliest date a decision could be made is in May during the meeting in Atlanta.
Until then, prepare yourself for a splash in the NFL and in Charlotte, NC.
