Multiple Children Bitten By Stray Dog At Elementary School In Charlotte
A total of seven children were bitten by a dog while in school in Charlotte yesterday.
The incident occurred after a pit bull approached students who where playing outside during recess at Lansdowne Elementary School.
Teachers tried to protect students by reentering the school, however, the dog followed the kids inside.
Due to the children panicking during the situation, the dog quickly became aggravated and bit the students.
None of their injuries were reported as severe, and none of the students needed to be treated at a hospital due to the ordeal.
The owner of the dog has been located.
According to Spectrum News, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is currently investigating the incident.
