Suspect On The Run After Teen Killed In Steele Creek
A teen is dead after being shot in Southwest Charlotte on Sunday evening.
Police with the Steele Creek Division responded to a shots fired call last night at a residence located on Carolina Forest Court.
Once at the location, officers heard gunshots nearby. As they moved in the direction of the gunfire, they found a male lying in the roadway on Carolina Forest Court.
According to WBTV, the male victim has been identified as Terale Claridy-Vaught, 18.
The teen passed away at the scene.
The suspect fled the scene by vehicle. At this time, police have not located the suspect.
The relationship between the shooter and victim is unclear.
