G-Eazy Gets Charitable, Launches Endless Summer Fund
G-Eazy grew up in San Francisco, and he wants to make sure he gives back.
“The Bay Area raised me and made me everything I am, so it means a lot to me to be able to come home and give back,” the rapper is quoted saying by XXL. It’s noted that the organization will focus on helping LGBTQ kids to combat homelessness and supporting education, as well as working with kids dealing with mental illness.
To commemorate the launch, he donated $50,000 to San Francisco’s Larkin Street Youth Services, which included payout from the LGBTQ t-shirt sales from Gerald.
In addition to this, Eazy has linked up with Propeller to have volunteers work the shows at his Endless Summer Tour, and they will gain entry to the show if selected to volunteer.
Check out the dates and availability for volunteer options here.
Heads up: The Bay Area's own @G_Eazy is about to host an 'Endless Summer Fund' charity event today at Larkin Street Youth Services in San Francisco. $$$ goes to help young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness - 2pm.
