ATLANTIC OCEAN - SEPTEMBER 10: In this NASA handout image taken by Astronaut Ricky Arnold, Hurricane Florence gains strength in the Atlantic Ocean as it moves west, seen from the International Space Station on September 10, 2018. Weather predictions say the storm will likely hit the U.S. East Coast as early as Thursday, September 13 bringing massive winds and rain. (Photo by NASA via Getty Images)

Brace yourself for a pretty eye-opening video.

A high definition camera outside the International Space Station captured a stark and sobering view of Hurricane Florence and it’s pretty mindblowing.

As the video description states, “This video was taken as Florence churned across the Atlantic in a west-northwesterly direction with winds of 130 miles an hour. The National Hurricane Center forecasts additional strengthening for Florence before it reaches the coastline of North Carolina and South Carolina early Friday, September 14th, 2018.”

There was also a tweet from Astronaut Ricky Arnold, who is aboard the ISS.
